This 1/72 scale model replicating Admiral Byrd's 1928 Ford Model 4-AT-15 that successfully flew to the South Pole in 1929. Specially modified for the trip with a more powerful nose engine, thinner skin, celluloid windows and an extra fuel tank in the passenger compartment, this aircraft is now displayed at the Henry Ford Museum.
