  
Back on April 6th, 1967 TWA's last passenger Constellation departed New York's Kennedy Airport from the Eero Saarinen designed Flight Center bound for St. Louis with intermediate stops. The following day brand new DC-9 jetliner took over the route, making TWA the first "All Jet" airline in the United States.On June 13th, 2000, the Airline History Museum at Kansas City (Formerly Save a Connie, Inc) flew in a crew on board Super-G Constellation "Star of America" marking the first time in 33 years that a passenger Connie in TWA colors has landed at JFK. As a member of that team I am proud to bring you photos from this historic journey which also celebrated, in part, TWA's 75th Anniversary of service. I would like to extend a deep heartfelt "Thank You", specifically to Hugh Schoelzel and to the great TWA Men and Women at JFK who made this dream come true for so many and realized such an amazing event!
