Votive ship models, as they were called, were suspended from the rafters of many a sailor's church. Some feel that this is the best way to display a model. We are pleased to offer this set of two (2) brackets, one for the front end of a boat model and the other for the rear end of the model. When attached to a wall with accompanying hardware (for wood and plaster walls), the brackets hold up the model and nothing interferes with the beautiful curves and lines of your ship's hull and sails. The brackets themselves come in an "antique" bronze metal, each with a dark stained wood base. Forward bracket is approx 6 1/4" in length and the stern bracket is approx 7 1/4" in length.
